Come join us to learn the Colonial Spanish Colcha Embroidery technique, taught by Annette Gutierrez Turk and learn the history of this historical style of embroidery in New Mexico.

Annette is a 9th generation New Mexican and Spanish Market artist born and raised in Albuquerque NM. She is an artist in Spanish Market juried for weaving and colcha embroidery, and volunteers at El Rancho de Las Golondrinas with the Weaving Group, demonstrating wool processing techniques including spinning, weaving, dyeing and colcha embroidery.

Participation is strictly limited to 15 - Advance registration is REQUIRED.

Open to adults and children over 12 years. All materials will be furnished. Come join the fun!!
