DIY Solar Viewer
Event box
Come to the South Valley Library this afternoon to create your own Solar Viewer! There is a total solar eclipse happening on Monday, August 21st. You shouldn't look directly at the sun, so in order to see the eclipse, you need to use special glasses or create a solar viewer. We will create our own solar viewers out of cardboard boxes from 3-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 19th.
No registration required. We have limited supplies, so first come, first served.
All ages welcome.
