The Dulcineas are a group of musical 8 ladies. Our aim is to promote mountain dulcimers, and to educate the public as to the history and versatility of the instrument.
We have an approximately 45 minute program that features playing music of different styles, to include the traditional Apalachian way.  Each song is introduced, and the instruments are explained.  We like this to be a casual, interactive time with those that are listening. Various other folk instruments will be played to accompany the dulcimers, as well as a demonstration of the hammered dulcimer, for contrast. The Dulcineas
