Birding for Beginners

Come explore an easy, new hobby with the Open Space Division as we talk about birding! Learn how to identify common species and the best locations around the city to spot our feathered friends. Not only will you get the chance to practice binocular and field guide use in the classroom, but an optional guided walk around the urban space outside of the library will be offered at the end of the program to practice those skills.

This program will be presented simultaneously in English & Spanish.

¡Les invitamos a explorar un nuevo pasatiempo con los instructores de la División de Open Space- observación de aves! Aprenda como identificar especies comunes y las mejores locaciones en nuestra ciudad para observar los pequeños amigos. Les enseñaremos como usar un par de binoculares y libro de identificación en la clase dentro la librería. También les ofreceremos una caminada guiada en el vecindario para practicar sus nuevas habilidades.
