Joe Van Cleave will share his writing process and why a typewriter can be a go-to tool when writing a first draft. Typewriters will be provided (or you can also bring your own, if you already use one) for you to experiment with for yourself, so feel free to bring an existing WIP or a new idea to try out.

This program is based on Woz Flint's book Typewriters for Writers: The Distraction-Free First Draft. Copies of Flint's book will be available for purchase for $16 by cash or Venmo. In collaboration with the ABQwerty Type Writer Society. Photograph provided by Joe Van Cleave.

Registration has closed.
