In-Person

Air is all around us, but it is most noticeable in the form of wind. A light breeze may barely move your clothing while a strong gust could blow a hat right off your head. Children can learn a lot about wind by simply observing it and experimenting with moving air. They will build wind catchers and describe the effects different wind speeds have on their creations. Finally, children will take their wind catchers home and continue to explore wind and share their observations with their families.
