All Day Event
Location:
Juan Tabo Library

Since April is National Poetry Month, and there's a solar eclipse on April 8, we thought we'd combine the two with a fun contest!

Write a haiku about the sun, the moon, the earth, the eclipse....you get the idea.  Your poem must be three lines, following the 5-7-5 syllable format.

We'll post the entries for patrons to enjoy, and then we'll select winners (child, teen, and adult) who will each win a heavenly prize.

Forms for the poems will be available at the library, or write your poem on your own paper.

For ages 6 to adult.  One entry per person, please.  Everyone who enters a poem will receive a pair of eclipse glasses (while supplies last).
