Rock Climbing Wall
Event box
Young and old, get in shape for the Olympics and have a summer adventure on the climbing wall. Push yourself to the limit as you attempt to conquer the incredible 25 foot massive rock. The climbing wall has easy, moderate, and hard routes that will challenge you to do your best. Parks&Recreation and the Public Library Albuquerque Bernalillo County have partnered up to bring you this opportunity at the Juan Tabo Library. Meet us on the parking lot between 10-1pm. No registration required.
Some important things to consider: The climbing wall is recommended for 2nd grade and up and/or at least 43” tall & 40lbs. Climbers should be wearing pants or shorts (no skirts) and securely attached shoes (nothing that can slip off). Hair should be pulled back but in a style that will be comfortable under a helmet. Dangling jewelry should be removed. Climbers under the age of 18 must have an adult guardian present. Adults are allowed to climb as well.
The wall will be located in the parking lot on the west facing side of the library.
