"Madan Sara" , a film produced by Street Team Productions, centers on the informal status of women in Haiti and their importance for the functioning of that society. Madan Saras deliver goods throughout the country and most times sell their goods in the public marketplaces to support their families. However, it is dangerous work because they are subject to being robbed, they experience disruptions on the streets which holds up commerce, and other dangers. Most times they are not protected by the authorities.

A film by Etant Dupain, discussion with the director via Zoom after the feature.
