The Cherry Hills Library has been hosting a Chess Club for kids for over 20 years.  But people of all ages are invited to join us for a very special one-time Tri-Dimensional Chess Demonstration, in partnership with the Cherry Hills Chess Club, to learn how this unique game is played on the Star Trek TV series! 

This event is sponsored and made possible by Andrew Bartmess (who, with Gene Roddenberry's blessing, created the first rules for Star Trek Tri-Dimensional Chess and donated them to the Cherry Hills Library for Star Trek Week) and local artist, Aaron Tinnin (who has generously crafted and donated a Tri-Dimensional Chess Set, according to the Andrew Bartmess instructions).   Come learn how the game is played! 

After this event, the hand-crafted Chess Set will become one of the grand prizes for the daily Star Trek Trivia drawing at the end of the week!
