This month's book: They Called Me Number One by Bev Sellars

Exposures of Canada's dark chapter with Indigenous peoples is conveyed, and Bev's story is highlighted as a triumph through adversity. Readers will receive a description of Sellars' experiences within the Residential Canadian Indian School and her journey in healing afterward. Topics of trauma, displacement, and courage arise in this novel and are sure to educate future generations.
