This month's book: Night of the Living Rez by Morgan Talty

Twelve stories set in Maine, each are narrated by a Penobscot boy named David. David lives on the reservation and every chapter is an experience of various relationships in his life. This book highlights the contemporary problem of intergenerational trauma within family structures through uniqie situations.

Book club leader Desiderya Costello is from To'Hajiilee, New Mexico. Desiderya is a member of the Navajo Nation and her clans are the Mexican Clan, Waters Edge, Big Water, and Within His Cover.
