East Mountain Historical Society sponsored lecture series in coordination with the 100th anniversary of the beginning of Route 66. Running from February through November 2026, each month will host a new speaker on a topic related to the installation and use and cultural impact of "The Mother Road" that is Route 66, which runs from Chicago to Los Angeles.
