In-Person

Join the Albuquerque Coin Club and explore the history behind coin making. A club member will demonstrate the making of a coin with a hammer and a die (metal stamp) in a wood stump. Learn more about pre-coinage and hammered coinage from Roderick Frechette, the American Numismatic Association (ANA) 2022 Numismatist of the Year and 2022 Glenn Smedley Award recipient. Stay for the demonstration and take home a souvenir. Handouts will be available. No registration required.
