Learn how to choose the right native plant for the right place, where to find other resources, and how to become part of the ABQ Backyard Refuge program hosted by the Friends of Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge. Enjoy a slide show of challenges Diane Stevenson, native plant enthusiast, ecological garden design coach and horticulturist had in designing and maintaining her home garden over the last seven years. Her garden is certified core habitat, and she is a Backyard Ambassador for the ABQ Backyard Refuge program.
