Join us in the scenic North Valley to kick off Black History Month by honoring African American authors in all genres.  We are proudly featuring African American writers of New Mexico.  Our program will feature published children’s book author, Charlia Boyer of Vado, NM, and Poet Dr. Doris A. Fields of Placitas, NM. Expand your reading and help us celebrate the voices of these two truly gifted writers.  Sponsored by ABQ-BernCo Library in collaboration with the African American Museum and Cultural Center of NM
