Birds of Prey. Since 2006, President and Raptor Specialist Laura McCann has done over 300 live bird presentations throughout the state of New Mexico. She has housed and trained several species of hawks, owls, falcons, corvids and vultures. Raptors of New Mexico Foundation (RNMF) currently houses educational birds and helps with wild bird rescue. RNMF does programs all over New Mexico at State Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, Public Schools, Public Libraries and other venues. At this presentation you will meet three live birds-of-prey and learn about the importance of raptors in our ecosystems. Also, you will learn what humans can do to help conserve these wild neighbors!
