Want to grow a garden but just don’t have the right kind of space? Join us to learn and discuss how to grow vegetables in 5 gallon buckets and straw bales. These techniques will allow you to grow a vegetable in small spaces or land where a traditional garden is not practical, like patios and rental properties. Containers and straw bales are an inexpensive and efficient way to grow your own food with a strong DIY ethos. We will cover the basics of containers, soil, setup, care of plants, trellising and more. And while you’re here you can get a sneak peek at our upcoming bucket and bale Community and Teaching Garden opening at the end of April.
