How do you grow a garden in an urban setting with no suitable space or tillable soil for a traditional, in ground, garden? Join us for the Grand Opening of our new bucket and straw bale, community and teaching garden at the Downtown Library. Inspired by the rooftop gardens of Kathmandu, this garden is meant to be a place of learning and inspiration throughout the growing season and beyond.  Through presentations, youth programing and having fun, we will explore container gardening as an alternative to growing food in a traditional garden plot. We also are creating some of our own compost with the help of our very own team of Red Wiggler worms. So, come and be inspired and learn what plans we have for this unique garden.
