Join local author Debbi James as she reads from her first novel Everafter.
This is a tale of three women who use a copper kettle that gives them special healing powers. The book follows their journeys from early Ireland to settling the West and into the future as each finds the kettle and learns of its power. There is betrayal, hardship, and love for each of these women as they travel through their lives.
Debbi has written poetry all of her life and has been published in several poetry anthologies. In 2024 and 2025 her haikus were selected for Poets' Picnic sponsored by the Open Space Visitor Center. She’s currently working on a book about her parents’ 53-year marriage.
