As part of the Erna Fergusson Library’s Día de Muertos celebrations, we will host an enchanting presentation exploring the cultural background, historical story, and rich meaning of Día de Muertos. Learn about the holiday‘s transformation from the ancient Indigenous societies of Mexico to the celebrations we know today. After the presentation, craft your own marigolds to light up your ofrenda at home or leave on the library’s community ofrenda.
