You've heard of the Harvey Girls, but do you know about the "other Harvey women," the Couriers of the Southwestern Indian Detours? Learn about the New Mexico women who led tourists on multi-day auto tours through the Pueblos, canyons, and ruins of northern New Mexico and Arizona, southeastern Utah, and southwestern Colorado.

Presented by Suzanne Stauffer, who will also be signing and selling copies of her new historical mystery, Fried Chicken Castañeda, the first in the Couriers Series featuring Prudence Bates, a trainee Courier.

Suzanne is Professor Emerita of Library and Information Science at Louisiana State University and now resides in Albuquerque. She is currently working on a collection of biographical sketches of the women who served as Couriers.
