Your child can read to registered therapy dogs in a relaxed atmosphere. The dogs sit calmly and quietly for a story while children practice reading out loud without fear of judgment. It's a great way for children to gain confidence in their reading. Registered dogs are provided by Delta Society Pet Program, Southwest Canine Corps of Volunteers, Therapy Dogs, Inc.

Please call us at 505-291-6264 to confirm after 12:00pm on the day of the program. Dogs, like children, sometimes have health conditions that may prevent them from being available. Thank you for your understanding.
