It may feel a little early to think about winter gardening, but in Albuquerque, August and September are the perfect time to start seeds and transplant seedlings for a productive winter garden. Thanks to our mild winters, Albuquerque offers excellent conditions to try your hand at growing greens and a few other vegetables throughout the colder months. Join us to learn about cold frames and frost cloth, starting and caring for seedlings, fertilizing, and best practices for winter watering.
