Join us at the Erna Fergusson Library for the second meeting of the Interfaith Book Club! This month we will be discussing The Five Wounds by Kirstin Valdez Quade. This book is set in the fictional village of Las Penas, NM during Holy Week. The main character, Amadeo Padilla, must navigate complex family issues while preparing to play the role of Christ in the town’s annual passion play. The library is offering limited free copies of the book to patrons, and several are available for checkout. Please register for the event as soon as possible! Patrons can pick up their books at the library front desk.
