William Shakespeare's Coriolanus by New Mexico Shakespeare Festival

William Shakespeare’s Coriolanus is one of the least known plays in his Roman Trilogy, but the message of Coriolanus and the fall of its protagonist Caius Martius (Coriolanus), is more relevant than ever. Where does truth meet politics? Can they both truly live together? Volumnia, Coriolanus' mother, arguably the hero of the play, deftly recognizes the tenuous balance between the masses and those in power, loyalty and revenge, as well as, war and peace. Come enjoy this fascinating look into the Roman and Volscian world with members of the New Mexico Shakespeare Festival ahead of their production of this play in October.
