Join us every month at the International District Library as we read and discuss YA books with inclusive representations of characters, themes, and settings. We discuss issues such as separation of authors and the work they publish, the relationship between reader and author, and the importance of representation all while having a blast reading new books together. For ages 13-18. 

This month, we will be joined by local author Khadijah VanBrakle to discuss her newest YA novel, “My Perfect Family” (Kirkus starred review) as a special iteration of Read Between the Spines Teen Book Club.
