We are excited to welcome Keith Lloyd for a reading of select passages from his new book The War Correspondents, followed by a discussion/Q&A.

War correspondents not only rubbed shoulders with generals, admirals, prime ministers and presidents, they often witnessed the fighting first-hand and up close, placing themselves at great personal risk in order to get the story. The War Correspondents recounts the most destructive conflict in human history, from the civil war in Spain to the ultimate collapse of the Third Reich, and tells the story of the legendary reporters who accompanied Allied soldiers, sailors, and airmen into battle

The Ernie Pyle Library is not ADA accessible because the historic building and grounds include steps, narrow passages, and small spaces. The building was Ernie and Jerry Pyle’s 1,129 square foot  home built in 1940. It is a National Historic Landmark and it is on the State, City and National registers of historic places. The closest ADA accessible Libraries include San Pedro Library, South Broadway Library, International District Library, and Erna Fergusson Library.
