Interested in rocks, minerals, gems, or fossils? Have a favorite rock that you have no idea what it is? Learn more about gems and minerals from members of the Albuquerque Gem and Mineral Club (AGMC). The AGMC is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the advancement and enjoyment of the Earth Sciences and associated subjects.
Experts will be on hand who can help identify specimens, demonstrate cabochons, and examine your items under a microscope with a large screen. There are a variety of activities for adults and children and maybe some gifts for the kids. No registration necessary, but parents are asked to stay with their child during the activities.
We encourage patrons to bring in any rocks they would like identified!
