During this workshop, facilitated by artists and activists Rose Marie Prins and Linda Piper, we will view a video, followed by a discussion of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) crisis. After a brief lesson in the basics of portraiture, we will draw portraits of North American indigenous women on 9"x8" tracing paper to incorporate into the collaborative art installation. These images represent the countless anonymous indigenous women who disappear without a trace. All materials supplied. Art experience not necessary. For ages 17+
