A cross between Spirograph and Macramé, string art is a crafty (and tricky) way to teach a mathematical principle of design — a rounded shape called a Bezier Curve — using only straight lines.
Build a Better World: Read! Children ages 9 to 12 can attend Summer Reading Program tween events and enter to win a grand prize. This event is free and all materials are provided. Registration is required. Please register online or call a librarian at (505)764-1742.
