It took people with grit and ingenuity to create the Public Land System in New Mexico.  Santiago Romero Jr., a retired Professional Engineer and Surveyor with over forty years of experience in the State of New Mexico and an avid historian, will share New Mexico's unique and wild history from the Spanish Land Grants to the Public Land System as we know it today.
