Enrique's Journey by Sonia NazarioEnrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario

When Enrique was five, his mother left Honduras to work in the U.S. She sent money back, promising she would return quickly; but she struggled in America. After eleven years, he decided he would go find her - alone and with a slip of paper with her N.C. phone number. Without money, trekking the length of Mexico, jumping on and off the Train of Death, he and others evade bandits and authorities.
