Let’s travel back to1950s Albuquerque with little known publisher Janet Kromer.  Janet and her staff shaped Albuquerque in ways not easily seen at first glance. Join Special Collections staff member Teri Reynoso as she tries to discover how an artistic woman from New York was able to self-publish an Albuquerque society magazine for nearly 13 years. This magazine, Janet Kromer’s Shopping Notes, is the subject of the Library’s current digitization and indexing project.
