Dune (PG-13) - In 10191, a spice that permits the folding of time is the most valuable substance known in the universe, and its only source is the desert planet Dune. A royal decree awards Dune to Duke Leto Atreides and ousts his enemies, the Harkonnens. When the Duke is murdered by the Harkonnens, his son Paul, escapes to Dune, where he is greeted by the desert dwelling Fremen who mine the spice. Paul assumes the mantle of messiah and leads them in a revolt that topples the balance of power in the universe.

*The book discussion will take place earlier in the day and there will be a break between the book discussion and the film.
