Come visit the BioPark’s Discovery Station booth downstairs in the story pit anytime between 1:30 and 3::00 p.m. as part of the Friends of the Public Library‘s 50th Anniversary celebration! Meet and interact with animal ambassadors that you could find in your own backyard. Explore the advantages of having animals like these in a healthy backyard ecosystem. Learn about ways that you can encourage them to move in, and why you would want to. Ambassador animals may include any of the following: praying mantis, millipedes, toads, snakes, or raptors.
