In-Person

We meet quarterly on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. to discuss mainly non-fiction titles, often with ties to local history. All are welcome to attend.

For our autumn meeting, we'll be discussing Crazy Brave by Joy Harjo, the new U.S. Poet Laureate. Joy Harjo is Oklahoma based, but has ties to New Mexico, as "she got her start writing for the University of New Mexico's literary magazine, and graduated from that school with a degree in creative writing in 1976 (she also studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts)."

We'll be showing a short film about Joy Harjo later on October 5.
