Come explore New Mexico history through film with a ¡COLORES! double feature!

Understated Sacredness- Accompany Santa Clara Pueblo Native American, Rina Swentzell, as she traces the paths of her childhood through the Santa Clara pueblo. Swentzell discusses her experiences as a child growing up in a world where all things are held sacred, from the stones that line the pueblo paths to the cracks and crumbling of old pueblo architecture.

Another Side of the Story  - When Frank H. Cushing came to Zuni Pueblo in the late 19th century he characterized Zuni pueblo in his writings and drawing. Over 100 years later, Zuni artist Phil Hughte has turned the tables and has created humorous drawings of Cushing's stay with the Zuni which lend insight into how cultural differences have created inaccurate representations of the Zuni and Anglo cultures that need to be reexamined.
