Learn about the significant impact that the Railyards had on the economic, social and cultural development of Albuquerque between 1880 to 1970. This presentation will include an examination of the type of difficult and creative work that went on at the Railyards, who the people were who worked there and how what they did affects us even today. We will also discuss the current efforts to preserve the history of the Railyards so that we and future generations can understand how we came to be. Included in this presentation are many photographs and images that illustrate Railyard history, such as the exhibits and important work at the Railyards’ WHEELS Museum that preserve our history. Presented by Thomas Sims of The WHEELS Museum. Registration required and limited to 25.

Registration has closed.
