Movies in the Mountains
Frank Cullen, film historian and founder the of the American Vaudeville Museum, hosted a film series at The Guild Cinema for a decade. He now brings his expertise and enthusiasm to the East Mountain Library for a monthly discussion and showing of the most important films in the history of the business. All ages are welcome for the showing every 3rd Saturday of the month at 12:00 pm. Call the library at 281-8508 for more information.
November 18th We'll see "Roman Scandals" 1933 Starring Eddie Cantor, Ruth Etting, Gloria Stuart. A kind-hearted young man is thrown out of his corrupt home town of West Rome, Oklahoma. He falls asleep and dreams that he is back in the days of olden Rome, where he gets mixed up with court intrigue and a murder plot against the Emperor.
