Long used in Asia for both handwriting and expressive artwork, the pointed brush frequently poses a challenge to western calligraphers. Through demonstration and individual instruction, Elizabeth McKee will systematically assist students over the initial hump of learning how to use this exceptionally versatile tool and help them take their first steps on the journey towards proficiency.

Join Elizabeth of Escribiente – Albuquerque’s Calligraphic Society in this exploration of the enormous potential latent in this humble tool. The class is suitable for beginners and those with some experience who wish to hone their existing skills. Exemplars and supplies will be provided.
