A brawling trucker, a singer, and a beer-guzzling orangutan embark on a series of wacky adventures. New Mexico filming locations include Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos, with special mentions of the Rio Grande Zoo (now the ABQ Biopark) and the Cottonwood Court Motel and J. W. Eaves Movie Ranch in Santa Fe.

Every Which Way But Loose has a runtime of 119 minutes and is rated PG.
