Page Crafts Book Arts: Altered Book of Pockets

Take old books and make new journals. Take new books and make art. Take “junk” and make bound treasures. Each month Page Crafts participants create a new piece of book art. Discover new techniques, new materials, new ideas, and new friends. Supplies are provided, but feel free to bring stamps, papers, photos, ribbons, or any other ephemera you would like to use in your creation.
For ages 18+
This month we will each be creating an altered book of pockets inspired by the work of book artist Natasa Marinkovic. Use PVA glue, stamps, stickers, washi tape, and other supplies to create a book of pockets in which to stash secret letters, favorite photos, and treasured bookmarks.
