A bilingual sampler of southwestern tales, legends, and myths offering the modern reader wisdom passed down for hundreds of years. This book has stories of magic, Southwestern curiosities, cuentos retold by elders, and much more offering tales about mortality, wisdom, and life.
In this bookclub we will read cuentos "stories" set in New Mexico. From history to folklore to witchcraft, enjoy short stories and novels retelling our elders’ legends here in New Mexico. Share stories recited to you by your elders that have not been written down yet.
Registration is not required but highly recommended.
