Jackie Zamora was born and raised in Lima, Perú. She began studying with her mother, a former dancer/choreographer and Zarzuela singer, at the age of 13. Inspired by her Latin roots, she began to explore salsa, Latin jazz and bossa nova idioms. Jackie will be performing classic and contemporary Brazilian jazz with the talents of Michael Anthony, Paul Gonzales, Colin Deuble, and David Flores.

Don’t miss this free performance, the latest in a monthly series of free events in collaboration with AMP Concerts and the Friends of the Public Library.
