Movies in the Mountains
Film historian and founder the of the American Vaudeville Museum, Frank Cullen, who has hosted the classic film series at The Guild Cinema for the past decade, brings his expertise and enthusiasm to the library for a monthly discussion and showing of important films you may not have seen, but as you will learn, have had an impact on the film industry and society since their release. All ages are welcome to this free event. This years Movies In The Mountains is a Comedy Film Festival shown every 3rd Saturday of the month at 12:00pm. Call the library at 281-8508 to get a required and socially distanced Reservation.

January's Film: Buck Privates (1941) Abbott and Costello and The Andrews Sisters. Two sidewalk salesman enlist in the army in order to avoid jail, only to find that their drill instructor is the police officer who tried having them imprisoned. Directed by Arthur Lubin.
