Join author Alysa Landry and her special guest Thomas H. Begay, one of the few remaining Navajo Code Talkers alive today.  Dr. Landry will discuss her research and writing of her book Thomas H. Begay and the Navajo Code Talkers. The Navajo Code Talkers were a critical part of the World War II effort and participated in every major US Marine operation in the Pacific theater.  In this unique collaborative project Alysa Landry and Thomas H. Begay will share with us his story and experience as a Navajo Code Talker and the author and her special guest will discuss how they worked together to tell his story.
