Movies in the Mountains
Frank Cullen, film historian and founder the of the American Vaudeville Museum, hosted a film series at The Guild Cinema for a decade. He now brings his expertise and enthusiasm to the East Mountain Library for a monthly discussion and showing of the most important films in the history of the business. All ages are welcome for the showing every 3rd Saturday of the month at 12:00 pm. Call the library at 281-8508 for more information.
September 16 we're showing "Blazing Saddles" 1974 Mel Brooks' classic western comedy starring Gene Wilder, Cleavon Little and Slim Pickens. In order to ruin a western town, a corrupt politician appoints a black Sheriff, who promptly becomes his most formidable adversary.
