In-Person

JACL Players, New Mexico's Japanese American readers theater group, has been bringing "living history" presentations to Special Collections audiences since 2015. Please join us in commemorating 10 years of multimedia programs on the wartime experiences of Japanese Americans and shared stories of New Mexicans who overcame racial hatred, war hysteria and vigilantism to extend helping hands to their  incarcerated fellow Americans.

This program is 60-minutes, followed by an audience talk-back. A complementary oral history workshop will be offered on a date to be announced.
