Join John L. Deuble Jr., author of two books on the military heritage of New Mexico in the early 20th century,  for a talk about history of Kirtland Army Air Field [KAAF] during the World War II time period 1941-1945.  The talk will touch on many aspects of Kirtland’s operations during the war, including  major USAAF operations, KAAF involvement in the Manhattan Project, aircraft accidents, a movie made at KAAF, unique organizations, and personnel.
